Rhinos

I challenged myself to make a thought provoking diptych along with exercising my drawing skills. I was initially inspired to draw the profile of a rhino head to life scale. To provoke thought, I decided to mirror the image with a version of a poached rhino. Once the two were placed side by side, they displayed a powerful message of the negative effects of animal cruelty. Without it's horn, the rhino is clearly stripped of it's identity, dignity, and security.
